I gave myself a challenge to photograph some buildings in the most difficult situations. Since I was in downtown Portland, I looked at the new towers that border the East side of the I-5 just before the Markham bridge. These buildings are covered with glass and it was a very bright day with lots of contrast – the kind of thing that would blow a normal exposure to pieces. Here’s the results of one of my attempts.
